Combating Opioid Use in Our Region
Opioid use is a growing problem in our region and impacts all of us. The problem shows itself in many ways – deaths from overdoses, crimes due to drug use, family stress, babies born addicted to drugs – the list goes on and on. This GHR Connects Community Page provides not only information on the problem but also on solutions and ways that individuals, organizations, and coalitions in our region are working to combat the opioid crisis. Many collaborative initiatives underway across the region can be leveraged to make a difference through positive impacts in tackling the opioid epidemic and addiction.
